Integer

An integer is a data type which can store whole numbers.

You can generally apply the usual arithmetic operators to integers (add, subtract, multiply, divide, exponent, etc.)

Signed and unsigned integers

• Signed integers can be either positive OR negative.
• Unsigned integers can only be positive.

Endian

There are two ways that CPUs store integers:

• Little endian - smallest unit first
• Big endian - largest unit first
